Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mike and I dedicated Saturday to the apartment. We spent some time at Home Goods and stumbled upon an amazing mirror sale, some unique gold accents, and some other items to spray paint gold. Okay, I’m having a gold moment, so sue me =). I also started on a new DIY canvas… I’m free handing it this time, so I hope it turns out. It’s either the beginning or the end of my painting career.
Another little highlight from our weekend, dinner at Mio Vicino. It’s a Santa Clara gem. Amazing pasta dishes to choose from and to-die-for bruschetta. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely a place to try!
I’ve been on a gold kick for a while now, I hope it lasts because I keep buying and painting stuff in gold! As usual, I love your photos, the notebooks are gorgeous and I love the cases

As much as I don’t care for bread, I just can’t say no to homemade bruschetta and the tasty bread that goes with it! I guess it’s OK to splurge once in a while, right?

mmm mio vicino is soo good! my bf is testing out gluten free diet for a couple weeks, so i’m trying not to be in his face with all my carbs… it just feels mean! but you’re definitely inspiring me with all your yummy looking gf food pics, so i may jump on board…
Loving the soon to be Goldmember. I have been adding a touch of gold around the apartment lately… at some point I will have to put the spray can down and slooowly walk away. That or I’ll pass out from the fumes.
Here’s an idea for an easy DIY that added a touch of gold to some old picture frames.
