Despite the eight events going on this past weekend, Mike and I kept things pretty low key. We braved the crowds on Saturday and headed down to the Marina to catch a glimpse of Fleet Week. We watched and heard the planes, enjoyed the amazing weather, and sipped some ice cold cocktails. Honestly, after hearing the planes fly by and shake my whole apt. Friday – Sunday, I’m glad it’s all over. I spent all of Sunday catching up on emails, watching football, and getting as much rest in before a crazy week.

I wanted to ask you if you of an event in SF for New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day? I am trying to make plans to spend that holiday in the bay area but I’m not sure where to spend it?

Great photos! So, my Sat was very similar except we snacked at the Grove on Hayes and noshed on macarons at Chantal Guillon. Other huge difference …I listened to the weatherman and (over)dressed for the “major cool down.

your weekend looks like it was a blast! i was visiting friends in san francisco (from minneapolis) and it was such a perfect weekend to be in town! our weekend was very similar to yours- blue angels, delicious meals, and enjoying the amazing weather.
