{Asos blouse, Ralph Lauren Denim and Supply vest, Gap jeggings, Pour La Victoire pumps, vintage Coach bag, Asos spike bracelet}

I find it hard to get dressed during the transition period from summer to fall. My mind is set on knits and lightweight jackets, but it feels and looks warm enough for shorts. When all else fails (and you’ve gone through several outfits), I tend to lean on the trusty combination of a sheer blouse and layers. A little bit of summer and a little bit of fall…
In other news, these Pour La Victoire Mai wedges have been on my Must-Have list forever. I never took the plunge because I wasn’t sure they’d fit (smallest is a size 6). Last week, I stumbled upon a great deal and couldn’t pass them up. Hey, if they didn’t fit, I could send them back. Although there’s a little wiggle room, they fit and are so comfy! These might just be the perfect pump for running around the city.

I love everything about this!
Love the wedges! I have had my eye on those for a long time too…so glad to hear they are as awesome as they appear! =D

I love that the anorak seems to be here to stay, what a great layering piece!
Chelsea & The City
Simply perfect! I sound like a broken record every time I leave a comment
I hope you had a great long weekend! xx
Oof, I seriously struggle with this transition time too – the weather/humidity says shorts & tanks, but the store merchandise/my brain say jeans & blazers. I love the way you worked with the two! Must try harder with my own closet (and avoid the temptation to just buy a new wardrobe…)
Love this outfit! I’ve wanted those shoes forever too! xo.

You look great and love the wedges on you.
I love light-weight blouses for late summer and early fall, which I rely on a lot. I usually gravitate to adding on a blazer for a layered look (since I work in a laid-back corporate setting) like I did here: http://coverupchic.blogspot.ca/2012/08/summer-suiting-purple-and-cheetah.html, but a vest like yours is a great casual alternative and a definite wardrobe staple.
