Of course the days I want to snap photos of our finished DIY for the blog, it’s dark and gloomy outside, aka extremely dark in the living room. I took some shots with lights on, but hated most of them. In an effort to not leave you hanging, here’s a photo with a spruced up Instagram filter. I hope to get some natural light next week so I can actually do a post and share my experience.
In happier news, happy Friday! What are you up to this weekend? Mike and I don’t have anything on the books, but I’m hoping to tackle a new recipe tonight, hit the gym, and learn how to spray paint like a pro… I have a feeling everything I own will be gold by the end of the week!

OOHHH tres chic! I love it. =) What a cute idea.
Have a great weekend. I’ll probably be low key about it since I’m not 100%. Boo. What a bummer. I thought I managed to skate by the illness factor since most of my office mates were coughing and sneezing…but then it hit me and I was like “DANG” haha.

@Nancy- Thank you! Feel better soon, lady. Being sick sucks… I think it gets worse as we get older. Rest up, ‘we’ have a big game next week
So cool…and such a great idea! I haven’t found the perfect art for above our bed yet, but the idea of a DIY scares me. Maybe I should reconsider, though

I love that! Very simple but interesting. I’m *finally* having a weekend of low-key. I cannot wait!

I love that artwork! I have always wanted to do some of that for my apartment…but I live with my brothers and it’s not their…”taste”. haha

Yay for spray painting. Make sure you sand if it’s wood, it’ll make everything smoother and more vibrant
Love the DIY artwork!
