Happy Friday! What are you all up to this weekend? Mike and I will finally get our tree and some decorations up. We’ll also be heading back to Ikea and Crate and Barrel. Oh apartment, you’re so needy! We have date night planned for Saturday night, most likely dinner and a movie (would love to hear any movies recs). Now that the we’re settled in, I can’t wait to start getting into the normal swing of things and find our routines.
A look back at this week…
- - Excited to have gotten most of my Christmas shopping done this week. Thank you online shopping!
- - This beauty arrived and I could not be more in heaven. With her new arrival I sold this Furla tote. Out with the old in with the new.
- - Finally found a vision for the living room decor. We might have to settle on the coffee table, but I’ll get over it eventually. I cannot go another week without one!
- - Went through my entire closet and purged. It’s probably the smallest my closet has ever been, but I can truly say, I wear and love everything in it.
- - Pleasantly surprised at how quiet and calm the streets/ freeway/ stores are during the work week here (even during the Holidays). Makes it a little too easy to take a work break and ‘stop in’ my favorite stores.

I did a purge when we came back from The Island, but I need to make another one, and even if I just stay with a tiny closet, if it’s a I LOVE EVERYTHING in my tiny closet then I’ll be fine!

Ugh I need to do a closet purge BADLY…but I keep looking at everything and thinking I would wear it! haha I’ve run out of hangers like 3 times this year. It’s kind of ridiculous. Love how good purging feels after though. Have a good weekend!! I need to go to Ikea too but that probably won’t happen until after the holidays…or maybe right before!
Glad you’re enjoying your new digs! It’s hard moving into a space that’s bigger than your last. We moved into a larger space at the end of August and I’m still filling up the walls and corners. It’s a fun process!
I just purged the closet too! I love to clean it out so I can fill it again!

I saw Argo and Flight recently. Both were very good. Argo was very exciting and Flight was long but very good. Enjoy your weekend!
saw argo and life of pi recently. i liked argo better, it was super well done and so intriguing that it is based on a true story! life of pi was also really incredible, the effects were awesome. if you see that you have to do 3D, trust me!

Silver linings playbook was amazing! I highly recommend it- great story and great acting. Have a great weekend!
I would recommend Lincoln and Skyfall. We saw both over Thanksgiving vacation and both were awesome in different ways! Lincoln is incredibly well acted, and Skyfall… well Daniel Craig is hot and the movie is really exciting
So I’m sure you guys would enjoy either one!
