Happy, happy Friday! Although raining and miserable outside I’m looking forward to an exciting weekend. I’m off to see my close friend Amanda get married on Saturday, then spending Sunday catching up on blogs and watching the Niner game #beyondexcited! In other news, I finally got my hair cut! Should be debuting on the blog soon…

Happy 2012!!! How was your NYE? The bf and I kept it pretty low key. We opted for a movie, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and dinner- which was completely okay by me. It did feel pretty amazing to be up early New Years day, enjoying breakfast, running errands, and hitting the gym … perhaps there’s been one-too-many years of the alternative, ha =)

This past weekend was quite special. Birthday festivities began on Wednesday when my dad and family came up for an early bday dinner at Beretta (one of my favs). Thursday was spent in Livermore visiting my Mom and family for Thanksgiving, with more bday cake, wine, and yummy food. On Friday (my actual birthday) the bf treated me to an early morning breakfast and a present I’ve been eyeing forever… (he totally tricked me) lol. We spent the rest of the day visiting his parents and then ended the night perfectly with a movie and popcorn in bed.

Birthday celebrations finally ended on Saturday with dinner and special drinks with friends at the Tonga Room. Yes, I’m absolutely exhausted, but I’m definitely feeling all the love.

Good morning and happy monday! How was your weekend? Us San Franciscans experienced a massive storm on Friday and Saturday… definitely loud rain and screaming winds, kinda scary up here on the 4th floor. Although it was a don’t-leave-the-apartment kinda couple days, we managed to see Limitless with Bradley Cooper and Abbie Cornish. I thought it was good, suspenseful, and that Mr. Cooper is quite the stud, but according to the bf, this is definitely a renter.
Sunday the weather was 100% better, we tackled the gym and farmers market and then capped off the weekend with dinner at the bf’s parents house. It was the perfect weekend to stay in but I’m not looking forward to the next 5 straight days of rain, spring where are you?
