{Zara stripe peplum (similar), Gap boyfriend jeans (similar), Nine West pumps (similar), Furla tote}

Being gluten-free and vegan, one of the hardest cravings to satisfy is my occasional weekly sweet tooth. Since I’ve exhausted all my options at Whole Foods, every week Mike and I like to hit up either my favorite gelato/sorbet place in the Marina, or when they don’t have my flavors, we end up getting a smoothie at The Plant. It’s definitely become one of the highlights of my week and a great mid-week pick-me-up. Since I work from home, I find myself in loungewear half the time, so as silly as it sounds, I tend to get dressed for this particular occasion. I like to think going out for dessert is my ‘thing’, a treat, so naturally I reach for some of my favorite pieces in my closet. This week, stripe peplum and boyfriend jeans, a combo that’s easily becoming one of my go-to’s.
Hope you’re having a great week so far!

super cute… My boyfriend and I have been going to the SF Asian Museum every weekend. We play a game of finding a new piece every weekend. He wants to bike there in his sweats and he always wonders why I resist and want to dress up a little bit. I’ve been spending countless hours at work in front of a computer, so it’s fun to put on cute clothes! He just doesnt get it. lol..

@Kate- Thanks lady! I’m glad I’m not the only one who gets dressed up for random occasions lol.
Love the stripes!
I think getting dressed up for anything is always nice! I think being “dressed up” is probably going to work better than not being dressed up enough. haha…or maybe it doesn’t matter! =)
Lovin’ this…naturally.

P.S. My jeans from AE are actually one of my favorites. I do think though they run long since they were not cut for the petite gal. But, I think the fit is nice! And the ones I own have lasted me quite a while!
dressing up for a little dessert outing sounds fabulous! I am loving this Zara peplum… and it pairs perfectly with your chic boyfriend jeans!

I really like your outfit here. You pull of that style of jeans really well. Also, I recently tried a vegan bakery in the Toronto Beaches community called Tori’s bakeshop and it was sooo darn good. the Banana bread and cupcakes were Delicious and I didn’t feel like I was ‘being cheated’ lol
I love love love that I’m not the only one who gets dressed up for running small (sweet) errands. This week was a boyfriend jeans kinda week for me as well, love how effortlessly chic you look.
