Favorite Tee + Gold Kicks
{J.Crew baseball tee, Gap vest, Old Navy jeans, Steven by Steve Madden flats, Foley + Corinna Disco City foldover, Jewelry: Sequin link bracelet, Gap neon bracelet, Michael Kors watch, David Yurman ring} So remember this post? Well, I was able to snag this top at a good deal and can not be more in love. It might just be my new favorite tee. Although I didn’t style it in any of the three ways I thought I would (I’m sure I will soon though), I will say, I also love it with colored denim. I think we can officially say, dressed up or down, a baseball tee is super versatile. I’m glad I can give my stripe tees a break… for now.

Backward
{Gap sweater worn backward, J.Crew Factory skirt, Nine West sandals, Zara clutch, Jewelry: See Jewelry necklace, Sequin link bracelet, David Yurman ring, Tiffany and Co. ring, Michael Kors watch} In general I have a hard time wearing skirts. They’re super girly (which I shy away from) and usually overwhelm my small frame. I did recently find this white skirt at J.Crew Factory that is casual, perfect in size, and hits the perfect lenght. For some reason I’m really loving a white skirt… but then again, I’m loving anything white (as seen here and here). Since I like to dress down girly pieces, I love the idea of pairing a skirt with a sweater, tee, or flats. This was my first attempt at wearing a sweater backward and I kinda like it. It adds the perfect little twist. Have you tried this trend?

Summer Wear
{Gap shorts, Madewell tee, Quipid flats via Sway Chic, H&M belt, Target clutch, Jewelry: The Vault Jewels necklace, Sequin chunky link bracelet, Juicy Couture link bracelet, Asos rings, Michael Kors watch} I snagged these beige flats last weekend at a little boutique in Hayes Valley. I was introduced to Sway Chic by an ultra fabulous gal pal via Instagram (cc: @pipercase). Although they have an online boutique, if you’re in the area, I would highly recommend stopping in (more selection in store). Everything is right on trend and affordable. I was definitely having a summer moment on Sunday. Shorts and just a tee… that never happens in Sf. Days like these don’t come around often, so I was taking it all in with my new favorite neon pink stripe tee. Not pictured, my wild berry sorbet =) p.s Be sure to check out my Behind the Scenes over on vmacandcheese!

A Classic
{Gap jacket, Old Navy jeans, Crew Cuts chambray, J.Crew Factory clutch, Nine West pumps, Jewelry: See Jewelry necklace, Sequin bracelet, Michael Kors watch, David Yurman ring, Asos chevron rings} I have several chambray shirts, but this Crew Cut (boys) one takes the cake. I now know why bloggers have been living in these. Surprisingly, the shoulders fit well, it’s not too boxy, and loose in all the right places. If you can fit into these, I’d highly recommend them. I’m also really loving white denim paired with chambray. Such a classic look to try for spring and summer.

On Repeat
{Zara dress, Gap denim vest, Nine West sandals, Longchamp bag, F21 hat} I wore this outfit Saturday for wine tasting. I love the easiness of this dress and love that the vest adds a bit of an edge. Napa, wine, and amazing weather, sure, I’ll pretend it’s summer and play the part. Clearly, this hat and vest have been on repeat as of late. Although I’m not one to care when I love something so much I wear it seven days straight, posting for the world to see, that’s another story (woops). I’m definitely getting my money’s worth… and I guess you can say, it serves as inspiration on how to style both in different ways =)

Going Green
{Old Navy dress, F21 denim jacket & hat (similar), Steve Madden flats, Longchamp bag, Bracelets: Gap, Juicy, Splendid} I threw on this green maxi dress for happy hour on one of the warmer days last week. For warmer spring days and summer nights you can almost always catch me in flowy dresses and comfy rompers. They’re easy, comfortable, chic, and perfect for adding accessories. I’m making the disclaimer now, the closer we get to summer the more you’ll be seeing these comfortable, laid back looks … What are some of your go-to’s for those hot days?

Pastels
{DIY Gap shorts (similar), Bellatrix blouse via Nords Rack, Banana Republic cardigan, Paolo flats, J.Crew purse, F21 hat (similar), H&M necklace, Sequin chain link bracelet (old)} I fell in love with the color of this blouse the minute I saw it. Whether pink or purple, it’s the perfect color for spring and a great pastel to add to my wardrobe. I have a feeling it will be in high rotation going into summer… It’s probably not the best thing to do/admit, but don’t you love it when find a piece you want to wear all day everyday?

Bows + Ponytails
{Target boys gingham shirt (similar), Abercrombie & Fitch vest (old), J Brand jeans, Me Too flats, Furla tote, Gap neon bracelet} Happy Friday! What do you have planned this weekend? I’m crossing my fingers for better weather (we had some major thunderstorms last night. Not cool!), so I can do what I do best- frolick around the city, eat yummy food, and head to the farmers market. I’ll also be catching up on emails and blog reads, drinking a glass of wine, and sipping a soy cafe au lait or two… just some of my favorite weekend indulgences. p.s. I might be having a gingham obsession… must get more colors stat!

Uniform
{Joe’s jeans (old), Gap stripe tee & trench coat, F21 vest, Zara pumps, J.Crew clutch, The Vault Jewels necklace, See Jewelry necklace, Michael Kors ring, Nails: Sinful Colors Fusion Neon} Anytime I’m in an outfit rut or don’t feel like ‘thinking’ about what to wear, I throw on a variation of this. No matter how comfy casual you go, I love that a stripe tee will always pull the look together. Do you have a go-to uniform for days like these?
