Minimal Beauty
Oh, just some home inspiration for your Tuesday afternoon. The minimal decor, bright light, and monochromatic colors makes this an all time favorite! Truly, less is more here. Absolutely beautiful. . images via Hettinger found on 79 ideas.
Studio Chic
I stumbled upon this ultra chic studio apartment and thought I’d share it for two reasons; 1. it has a white theme, which we all know I love and 2. it’s just uber stylish. If you live in a small space (which I do), then I’m sure you get the same excitement and joy when you find inspiration and ideas on how to make a lot out of not-so-much (especially when it’s this fabulous!). I’m kinda obsessing over the checkered floors in the kitchen and the super high ceilings. . images via Alvhem
Black + White Duplex
My love for an all white decor was confirmed while watching the last season of the Rachel Zoe Project, but this black and white duplex is just divine. The basic colors provide clean lines and the contrast between black and white really brightens up the rooms. Anytime you show me hardwood floors, white accents, and a ton of light, you know I’m going to fall in love … uh, and that chandelier, STUNNING! images via BoBedre
It’s a Mint Green Thing
1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8 There’s something very calming and fresh about mint green. It’s not a color I tend to gravitate toward, but after noticing many summer pieces I’d have to say, mint green is such a pretty shade! Whether on the nails or in the apartment I’m determined to incorporate something minty in my life. Maybe there’s even a last minute summer dress waiting for me… Pretty right?
Teal
1/2/3/4/5/6 From nail polish to home decor, I can’t stop gravitating toward shades of teal. I recently bought this print to hang in our bathroom and painted an accent wall liquid blue. In a white and gray apartment, a pop of color only seems necessary and healthy! What colors do you tend to gravitate toward?

Yup, Obsessed!
1/2/3/4/5/6 As you may know from previous posts, I’m working on a couple touches to make the apartment cute and cuddly. Currently, I’m in the process of adding several accent walls, hanging pictures, stringing curtains, and finalizing the bathroom look. You and I both know, this part of the decorating takes time… I’m really trying NOT to let 8 weeks pass with nothing on the walls. Browsing my favorite inspiration sites, I keep coming across these cute trays. I love the idea of taking a simple oversized plate or bowl and putting it to use for little knick-knacks, sunglasses, and keys. I’ve officially become obsessed! I know I’m probably late to the game, but they add the perfect touch while organizing at the same time… What do you think? A fan, or not so much?
A Need: Bookshelf
{Victoria from Sfgirlbythebay’s apartment (above and below), so cute! } 1/2/3/4/5 Moving into a smaller apartment means less storage space and more clutter. Clutter is a huge no no for the ultra clean, organized, neat freak, aka the bf. I’m trying to make an effort and show I can be clean and organized too (trying is the key word). I just went through all my clothes, and organized our bathroom and office space … I think he’s pretty impressed! Even with all the garbage bag of ‘stuff’ and goodwill bags, I still have things lying around. This is where my need for a bookshelf comes in to play. Not only will it help hold all my office supplies, but will do wonders with all the extra things floating around. Loving all the ones featured above… obviously leaning toward white. What do you think? What are some of your tricks on how to clean up clutter in small spaces?
Tablescape To Die For
Happy Monday! How was everyone’s weekend? Rather than the normal start of the week ‘Weekend Recap’ I decided to post one of the most fun, girly, stunning photoshoots ever… I had to share! (this is also due to the fact I took zero photos all weekend, forgot my camera in the car and phone died, lame.) I first saw this tablescape photo when Sara repined it here. I was instantly attracted to the bright colors, sparkles, and confetti; I mean how can you not be! Carter & Cook, event planners based in Southern California, do phenomenal work; innovative, creative, gorgeous, yet always grab the essence of the client. To see some of their work, check out their blog! Gold sequins, fun colors, garland, heart lockets, and sprinkled confetti… I could eat, sleep, live, and work in this. Who’s with me?
White Workspace
1/2/3/4/5 For the past couple years I’ve had an obsession with black brown furniture; from my bed frame, desk, and even picture frames. But more recently, the all white trend has caught my eye, especially when it comes to work space. There’s something very calm and comfortable about white… a bit more inviting, maybe even get more work done (ha, right!). I think a brand new Mac would go perfect with my all white obsession, just a thought! What do you think? Does the design, color, and decoration of your work space/office impact your work?
