TGIF + A Little Marigold

.
I’m officially lusting over the color marigold. Not necessarily a color I’d gravitate toward, but I’ve seen it done so well on blogs and inspiration boards. Huge fan of it paired with navy or a glamorous red lip. Pretty, right?
.
In other news, thank god it’s Friday, no? I’ve been consumed by work all week, so I’m looking forward to a weekend with no set plans. I’m hoping to get to the gym, pick up a few things for my upcoming trip to Costa Rica, ordering take-out, and enjoying some warmer weather (let’s cross our fingers). Wishing you all a relaxing, throw-your-feet-up kinda weekend… AND thank you all for entering the Madison Elizabeth Co. giveaway, all your comments are so sweet (you still have time to enter)!

Anyways, how was your weekend? Other than seeing my friend get married on Saturday (eeek, she looked so gorgeous), I kept things pretty low key. The nasty weather kept me indoors, which also meant getting things done: cleaned out & organized my dresses, scheduled and completed posts for the week, and caught up on all your blogs!
.
I’m off to start a busy week and thrilled to share I’m hosting my first giveaway on the blog tomorrow, stay tuned!

TGIF

Happy, happy Friday! Although raining and miserable outside I’m looking forward to an exciting weekend. I’m off to see my close friend Amanda get married on Saturday, then spending Sunday catching up on blogs and watching the Niner game #beyondexcited! In other news, I finally got my hair cut! Should be debuting on the blog soon…

Want more ITCWC? Stay up-to-date with me over the weekend either on Instagram, Pinterest, or Tumblr or all of the above =) Wishing you all a wonderful, relaxing weekend. Go Niners!

Finally, Some Color!

{BDG button up, Gap sweater (similar style), Old Navy vest, Gap jeans, Nine West pumps (similar style), Longchamp bag (similar style), J.Crew necklace}

Last weeks Currently Craving inspired me to dig through my closet and put on some color. I realized I had more brighter options that I originally thought… I swear, organizing your closet helps reintroduce some old time favorites. This blue sweater was the perfect pop of brightness for the warm weather we had over the weekend.
.
a little side note:  I need a hair cut big time! Need to find some time to make this happen… not cute!

Casual Chic

{Gap jeans (similar style), Steve Madden flats, StyleMint tee, Abercrombie & Fitch denim jacket (similar style), Michael Kors watch, Madison Elizabeth clutch, See Jewelry necklace}

Since I work from home, and on occasion like to run to my nearest Starbucks, you can catch me in this no-fuss look A LOT. I like to see it as casual chic (comfortable but not sweats) ha!
.
I’m more in love with this StyleMint tee than I originally thought I’d be. The color, fabric, and fit- stripe tee at it’s finest, no joke. As for this Madison Elizabeth clutch, I’m so in love. I originally saw her line here and then spotted the tan and cream one in her esty shop. It was love at first sight… not pictured here, but the chevron fabric lined on the inside of the bag sold me instantly! Quality clutches at affordable prices, be sure to check her out!
